Location

Ses Salines is one of the most beautiful and oldest villages on the south-east coast of Mallorca. The municipality is located in close proximity to the "Cap de Ses Salines", the southernmost tip of the island, and its location is considered one of the most beautiful areas of the southeast of Mallorca. The image of the place is characterised by the nice bars and restaurants where Mallorquins and tourists meet. The region impresses with its particularly beautiful landscape between the rough coast and the dominating forests, the evergreen Spanish plants like rosemary and lemon trees. The main attractions of Ses Salines is the impressive nature. The famous natural beach of Es Trenc is only a few kilometres away, as is the beautiful bay of Cala Llombards. Ses Salines has a relaxed pace all year round due to the few visitors. Due to its location, the village offers an ideal retreat and authentic Mallorcan ambience with a small, but interesting international community. A weekly market is held every Thursday. The capital, Palma de Mallorca, is about 45 minutes away.
